Precision Measurements (Pty) Ltd is an insurance inspection body, test-equipment reseller and service center, and SANAS calibration laboratory, which provides work of the highest quality in a cost-effective and critically monitored turnaround time.

CALIBRATION
This consists of a qualified metrologist performing calibration at the customers’ premises, significantly reducing turn-around times and risk of loss
or damage to equipment.
Most of our calibration capabilities are offered as an on-site solution to the customer.
NEW AND USED
SALES AND RENTAL
We offer both new and used equipment for sale at competitive prices, with customer specific terms negotiable.
We also offer rental of a wide variety of equipment for short-, medium- and long-term use.
On request, we can provide training on the operating and use of all equipment, as an added feature for your package.
FORENSIC INVESTIGATIONS &
FAILURE ANALYSES
We offer specialised investigations determining the cause of failure of electronic and electrical equipment.
We issue a subjective and impartial engineering report on the outcome of the investigation. These reports are often used to support court cases or payment/non-payment of insurance claims.
WE DO
COLLECTION AND DELIVERY
We offer a free collection-from and delivery-to customer premises depending on customer location, and value of contract.
Delivery and collections for small quantities of equipment can be arranged at a minimal fee.

TRAINING
We offer training in a variety of fields, such as:
- Equipment usage and care.
- Repair techniques & principles.
- Basic workshop skills (such as soldering and fault finding).
We offer reduced packages for group training sessions.
Training is also available at the customer’s premises.

We offer service and repair down to component level (Through-hole & SMD) on all our calibration principles and custom equipment with a well-established network for sourcing replacement boards, parts and components.
All repair work is guaranteed and carries a warranty.
Metrology & On-site
Calibration
All calibrations performed in our SANAS accredited calibration laboratories conform to SANS-9001 and IEC/ISO-17025 requirements. Our laboratory standards are traceable to national standards as currently maintained by NMISA (National Metrology Institute of South Africa). Our laboratories have capabilities to perform electrical calibrations in the frequency range of 1 mHz to 40 GHz, over a voltage span from 1 µV to 1kV (expanded to 80 kV).
Extended capabilities include: Temperature, Relative Humidity, Torque, Pressure, High-Voltage, Mass, EMC, ESD, EFT and Surge.
We can also arrange for sub-contracting of equipment as per customers’ needs.
